Set in southern Spain just north of Cadiz Jerez is used frequently by moto gp teams testing both in and out of season. Built in 1986 it hosted its first gp a year later.
Re surfaced in 2005 and with state of the art facilities it is a favourite circuit attracting up to 250,000 fanatical race fans each year.The circuit is set in some stunning scenery and always provides good weather all tear round and spectacular racing. Track days are run by many British companies and make for a fabulous holiday for the die hard track day addict.Surrounded by some of the best biking roads anywhere what more could a motorcyclist want.
The circuit rises from the startline to a tight right-hander known as Expo '92. The second corner - Curva Michelin feeds into a left hand curve which is connected by a short straight to the constant radius turn of Sito Pons. That opens onto the long straight that terminates in yet right hander. Another handful of corners then feed the bikes back round towards Curva Ducados and back onto the start-finish straight
